Hi guys,

I was just rejected for Amazon affiliate after I made some first bucks. I obviously got generic email:

[FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]Thank you for applying for the Associate program. Upon review, we are unable to accept your application. A part of our criteria is that your site has to be established with enough unique content. We rejected your application due to one or more of the following reasons. [/FONT]

[FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]- Lack of content which is original to your site and beneficial to your visitors [/FONT]
[FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]- Pages that are mainly empty when advertisement content is removed [/FONT]

[FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]Unfortunately, we arent able to review an application once its been rejected. If your website has been further developed and now contains appropriate content, youre welcome to submit another application by using the following URL: [/FONT][FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]

[/FONT]I've got seven articles on my site so far. Obviously that't not enough? How much do I need to have? And is it worth to put another 10 or so and then reapply?

It seem you have copypast the content, use the infos you found on the page product and make a reviews of minimum 200 words

EDIT : I mean it's not about how many page but the quality of each
 
Amazon is really vague with the requirements to be honest. I got accepted with a 5 article website a year or so ago. Just try to provide some value and write longer articles if your articles are quite short.

I have about us page, but don't have privacy policy. I've publishing posts mostly, only two pages in the site - about us and aStore. I ordered articles from two sources from seoclerks and I did some editing to it, I don't think it's a copy/paste problem.
 
Build out a website that delivered value to the users / visitors, not just advertising / promoting content. Those seen as predominately adverts are seen as thin. Bulk the site out with fluff content, build out the content for each pillar article, then re apply.
Personally I wouldn't apply with less than 15k of works.
 
Amazon reviews application & site after the 1st sell. They do not allow low quality or duplicate content. Article must be informative & unique.

Make new site with informative, unique & much content. Apply again.
 
How big are those 7 articles ? They tend to reject if site looks like made for Amazon. But also it's just depends on person who review your site. Just add more articles with loads of content. 25-30 articles should do it. Better use articles which have 500+ word content and unique.
 
How many words per article?
How many pictures?
 
Just receive the same rejection email today.

I already add 20 articles - around 500 - 800 words per article.
Seems likely I will have to add more.
 
amazon is by far the worst to be an affiliate of.
why would you get 4% of their stupid affiliate program when u can monetize in such better ways

You can get up to 8% and amazon converts 2x better than anything else.
 
not sure exactly how it works when it comes to picking specific affiliates, someone on this thread posted something useful I think I saw
 
It is more strict. Years ago, there is no any requirement.
 
Dear, Thanks for presenting your problem. Actually I'm also an affiliate. I'm selling my products from my own site. In my sites I included unique contents and product review. I wrote those myself.Guys, Really Amazon is so much strict about their regulations and requirement that's why they rejected your site. Sometimes it depends on him who checked your site. Please try to include unique contents. Better content is an important matter for a site reputation. Though content marketing is an old marketing system but already you understand the usefulness of content. Did you wrote that yourself? If you face any problem then please update that. We will also help you much.
 
I was recently approved with 5 unique articles 500-800 words with a few pictures
