So I always see people talking about how they make product reviews or videos about products, and then make money by selling that particular product on Amazon or some other similar affiliate.

I wanted to go down this road, but the only road block is that I wouldn't have the product. When people make these product videos on youtube, do they actually have the product and they are using it and reviewing it or doing something with it? And if you don't have the product, do you just show a few pictures of the product and talk about it?

I guess I just wanted to know what kind of videos I should make for a product if I don't have it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are people on Fiverr that will make you a video review of any product you choose.

Well that would be expensive for me, seeing as this would be my first venture.

Why not try with Clickbank? Many of the products already have landing pages and affiliate tools you can use to market them.

Plus you get (on average) 75% commission.

Oo I didn't know that they did that. I feel stupid, thanks buddy.

But for the people who do use AMazon, do they usually have the product in their video?

I'd imagine video reviews would convert better than most people (especially Americans) don't like to read. And if you have a pretty girl do the video review then obviously that would be great.

I have no experience with clickbank but I personally think Amazon is better since you're selling physical, tangible products as opposed to digital products. The 75% commission may sound nice but you're mostly going to be selling books that are like $30-70 dollars. Whereas with Amazon you can sell $500+ products, and if the product is popular then the commission adds up. One last point is that the landing page for many Clickbank products look 'spammy' and look like there were designed in 1995 when AOL is popular. I'd imagine it would be difficult to convert with crappy landing pages.

Actually, you might want to check it out again. I think a lot has changed since you've last been there. There are indeed $500 products on there and they have a small variety of shippable items as well. And the landing pages don't look to bad.
