Hello guys, making this thread asking some questions.

I had an account on amazon as affiliate ( i made that account just for fun and have a look at amazon dashboard )
Its been almost 3 months i opened that account and i didnt have in plan to make an amazon affiliate website so i saw a facebook post about an item i knew was on Amazon store.
I just wanted to try it and see how well amazon converts. Below you can find the statistics from 1 Facebook comment.

I know this account will get banned because Amazon don't allow direct linking.

But these stats made me thinking, i mean it was only 1 Facebook comment and it gave me 600 clicks and 12 ordered items.

So my question is this :

Would it work if i make a simple Amazon affiliate website(i am bad at making websites), and send traffic to site throw facebook comments.

I'm bad at seo and website building so my earning would depend all on facebook comments.

Do you think this would work?
Thanks for answers

As an amazon affiliate, your one and only task is to bring the customer to amazon. The faster you make it, the better.
It is amazon who sells to the customers and it is them who pay billions to tweak their platform, so that the customer ends up buying something. And you can bet they do, once the customer with an intent to buy is on amazon, he will buy. Amazon is like spider in his web, if you are in a mood to buy, you are trapped.
If you can send costomers to amazon right from the facebook comment, don't waste your time with a middleman website.
Send those customers from fb comments to the store and earn your commissions.
You can build the website, but it shouldn't be your priority.
Do what works for you, tune, perfect it and write a journey, that's what i'm waiting for
Thanks!

You can continue and go ahead to create a website too, amazon coverts well but the commissions are low for me

You will have fewer sales with website and comments.. People will drop off. Maybe crappy website will work, because your goal is not to keep people on your website but get them to AMazon as fast as possible.
Have you tried something more niche specific? and some other affiliates with much higher %%%? Which you also can share directly on social media.

Yeah but amazon dont allow direct linking from fb comments to their store

Kindly add a link to this rule from amazon seller central.
As far as i know, you can use affiliate links to Amazon on Facebook (pages, profiles, comments) but you can't promote them with ads...

But you are supposed to show you are affiliated with Amazon and earn a commission on your website.
I guess you won't put that text in the facebook comment.
I wouldn't risk my Amazon account by doing this. You might get banned quickly.
On the the other hand, you can be very agressive with the Amazon displays on your own landing page and try to maximize the clicks.

The power of social media traffic, next time you should try to redirect them to your website that has amazon affiliate links on it. it will be much safer than this

Make the website, but clearly display that you're an affiliate most people don't care or understand what that means, and it will stop Bezos's goons hurting your account

i didnt read the rules actually, i was reading a thread here on BHW where a guy made money on amazon from facebook comments and later in the comments he added that after contacting amazon support they told him direct linking from facebook comments is not allowed.

Of course, this is a must. But why would you not do it? You simply start your FB comment in which you try to presell, and right before the affiliate link you just state something like (pls note that the following link is an affiliate link) and you put your affiliate link after that. If the audience is curious and potentially willing to buy - an affiliate disclosure will not stop them from clicking. I remember a discussion (Chrissy @ bloggylaw) regarding how actually should the disclosure look like, some affiliates used successfully as simple disclosures as "ad" or "sponsored".

Is it ok to place Amazon affiliate links on Facebook posts?
Itś totally OK, Amazon even let´s you create affiliate links specifically for FB and Twitter, they look like this:

I don´t know this particular case but for me (I don´t tell you have to do it, it´s up to you) if It is not prohibited, it is allowed.

This is from associate central (.com) - there´s no specific information on FB comments

Facebook/Twitter/Social Media Sites:

Using Associates Central Website

  • After logging into your account on affiliate-program.amazon.com. click on "Product Links" found under the "Product Linking" tab on the top black bar.
  • Search for the item you want to link to either by keyboard or ASIN/ISBN.
  • Click on the down arrow beside the “Get Link” button to see item link.
    • Click on “Shorten URL with amzn.to?” if you want a short link.
  • Copy link and paste into post on Facebook or Twitter.
    • This also works for most other Social Media sites accepted per the Operating Agreement.
Using Site Stripe on Amazon.com:

  • Go to item or page on Amazon.com that you wish to link to.
  • Click on either the Facebook “f” logo or the Twitter bird logo.
    • To share on other Social Media outlets, you can choose “Text” option and copy the link to paste on that Social Media post.
  • Sign into account if not already linked in the window that pops up.
  • Click on Share Link for Facebook or Tweet for Twitter.
