Amazon affiliate - Waste of time?

The biggest drawback for me that made me abandon my Amazon project (besides laziness) was that they could ban you any second for life and there is no way to get your account back - and they have so many different polices that are not always clear cut on what you can and can not do. If you are banned from Amazon then your site is pretty much done - maybe you can find the same products on Aliexpress or somewhere but it's only a maybe.

Other than that - big G can fuck you in the ass at any moment just because they don't like that kind of sites.

I loved Amazon and made some great money and learned valuable online skills as a newbie, but now....meh!

They are a huge company, you get paid for any item ordered through your site / link. So if your niche is baby clothes and someone orders a tv, you get paid on both.
Downside is they pay nothing on giftcards and their commissions are tight to say the least.

and it would be so much easier if they paid across all sites with one sign up, instead you have to join each country or lose that commission if someone buys from a locale that you are not an affiliate for
@Nerva so do you use prosciate, i've been with them since launch
 
Its still making good money but you need to spend more times than some year ago.
 
The main downside is low commissions. Seriously 4% is useless and the competition is super damn high.
