Question about creating amazon affiliate sites. Is it better to do one big site that covers many things in a niche or many small websites. I guess I am wondering if there is a better reward for a larger site due to all your SEO efforts being directed at one domain instead of having to replicate them over many domains.

Example 1:

1 site, covers animals
-Animal 1
-Animal 2
-Animal 3

or

Example 2:

3 sites, covers animals
site 1 = animal 1
site 2 = animal 2
site 3 = animal 3

Depends on you really.

Can you manage 3 sites at once, comfortably?

The disadvantage of just one site, if it gets hit by an seo penalty then all your work is hit. If you have 3 sites, if 1 gets hit the other 2 are fine.

Advantage of a single site is it'll be seen (hopefully) as an authority site.

I would do one big website and several small websites, doing this with digital marketing niche atm, will be reporting my progress in BHW soon!

What do people generally use to define an authority site? Does authority just mean it ranks high in searches/keyword ranking or is there a generally accepted minimum size of content for it to be considered an authority regardless of keyword ranking?

If you use multi niche on 1 website.

You need more branding.

I suggest you have 3 sites.
1 for each niche
