Amazon affiliate site still profitable?

Hello everyone
I am currently working on amazon affiliate site and tbh I am sometimes doubting myself if it’s gonna be worth the time and effort. Is amazon site still profitable? Can we still make money off of it? And I also wanted to get help regarding if I should be buying products if I am reviewing them on my blog? Sorry if I sound stupid and I think people mostly don’t buy stuffs on which they are writing articles to their blog am I right??
So to the point my question is that
-Is amazon affiliate site still profitable and a good way for a beginner like me to start online journey??
-What niche should a beginner like me choose or go with?

Yes and Yes. You will learn how to actually rank a site, how to produce and manage content, design, plugins, CRO, email marketing and many other things. Even if Amazon affiliates die out, you will still have a great asset to monetize in another way.

Something less popular. Also, don't go for "best x" keywords, go for "best x for y" keywords, will be much less competition and as a beginner you can actually rank those relatively fast.

Something less popular. Also, don't go for "best x" keywords, go for "best x for y" keywords, will be much less competition and as a beginner you can actually rank those relatively fast.

And can you please tell me something about another question if you don’t mind
Should I need to buy or do people buy stuffs they write articles on?

Exactly. If the keyword still looks too competitive, try to go even deeper like "best chairs for adults with back pain". In most cases that will be too small, but there are niches where best x for y keywords are very competitive already.

No they don't. At least not in the majority of cases. If you want to write yourself, see the product website, check Amazon reviews, watch YouTube videos on the product. Heck, even read competitor reviews of that product. Combine all the info and present it to your readers.

Amazon will always always be the most preferred affiliate marketing option for beginners even if their commissions keeps slashing. There is a reason for that. People trust amazon so its easier to get people to buy on amazon.

Research your niche and rank your website

Hey Bro, I also started my online marketing journey as Amazon Affiliate a month ago, and trust me the insecure feeling is mutual but it's all good man. But i have some faith because my brother has scaled his amazon affiliate website pretty well in just 6 months and already started earning a good amount of money just from amazon. He didn't apply any ad service yet. There are many ways to earn through a website, there are many other affiliates on the internet but as an ideal start, Amazon is good for a start. But just don't focus on creating a website, always focus on building an Authority website for the long run.

  • Choose a micro niche or a niche that you will be interested in so that you won't get bored in the research process.
  • Start with low competitive keywords or prefer KGR Keywords.
  • Optimize your website regularly.
  • Build or buy clean links, you can check any OP service on the marketplace here on BHW.

Tbh I am quite interested in self development but I think there is no product in amazon beside books in this niche and it’s already over saturated and will be way to hard for me ,is it?
And what do you think about make money online niche?
I mean if I am going for amazon affiliate I think really don’t have something that I am interested in or maybe I can’t think or had find it
Would you mind giving me Any example like people who are interested in certain things and also have a way for amazon affiliate?

In short, KGRs are the low competition keywords that are supposed to rank better and faster than other keywords. Check the guide I attached and you will know how to identify them.

Yes, you are right the book niche is kinda saturated and needs more effort. And make money online niche is hard if you don't have anything valuable to give to the internet and all income must be just coming from ads at first (And honestly that's just pennies)

Look for any niche guide here on this forum or try searching it on youtube. Brainstorm your mind bro, finding a good profitable niche is the first and the hardest step. :eek:

Amazon's affiliate commission rates aren't great. When compared with some of the other affiliate programs, Amazon Associates is at the bottom of the list in terms of the commission percentage it offers on every sale. But that's got to do mainly with their business model.

Day by day Amazon reduces their commission rates. Last week they raise to 3% but still it's less as we compared with the 5%-8%.

And you can go with golf niche there is so many things in golf equipments you can go with it. In the same manner that given by mr. @GrizzlyBeardMan like best x for y and more

Yes its still profitable and better than a informative site. If you dont like the comission rates you can go with other affiliate programs.
