Amazon Affiliate Questions

hi,
im new to amazon affiliating and i signed up to the amazon UK program (where i live).
Now i was told that any USA or other traffic i get will be wasted.

Is it allowed to create another amazon affiliate account on amazon.COM ? and is there some sort of plugin i can use to redirect the traffic to the right site?

Another question, if i build a facebook page could i put direct amzn.to links on my page? Or is this not allowed

You can create amazon.com account and every other amazon accounts (.de, .ca and so on). You can use also Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer which redirect traffic to different amazon accounts (based by traffic location). And for last question you may get banned if you spam (put many links to social sites) amazon links.

thanks for the reply, im currently using WP Amazillionaire theme but im not sure about link localizer.
I saw the plugin on wp.com but it has been removed now and comments say it doesnt work anymore.

Yes you can open different territory accounts BUT IMO, unless you are getting mostly UK visitors, go with US amazon only. I've tried those localiser plugins, and they add unnecessary loading times to your site, plus, if they get it wrong, you're losing ALL monies. As most of my readers are US based, I simply have the US amazon link, and I found that it makes more money than using a localiser. That's in my situation though, yours may be different.
