Amazon affiliate question

Hi I have a quick question about creating personas. Could amazon block us or deny affiliation if for example the person getting paid is me, a male with x name, but the persona who "owns" the website is a female with Y name?

Another questions is: If I have family members who always buy stuff on amazon, would it be wrong to just tell them to go through my links first? Is there any way of losing affiliation that way too? Thank you

Amazon tries to keep track of the locations, etc of what is being bought and sold on their site. So family members may give you a risk of being banned for cheating their affiliate system (while site slike eBates that drive amounts of incentive sales are rewarded because of the bottom line).

I don't know the answer to your first question.

As for the second question, that would be against Amazon TOS, and I think it would be fairly obvious if the same individual kept buying different items from Amazon through the same affiliate's links - especially if they have the same surname or location as you.

Amazon doesn't care what you call yourself on your website. I call myself different stuff all the time

I bought a product with my link by accident before. I just shoot them an email and every time they say "oh no problem, thanks for letting us know."

Really unless you are doing something egregious you should be ok, and using a pseudonym is extremely common. For goodness sakes, people do it to sell e-books on their very own websites, granted they know their real identity, but you get the idea. As long as your payment information is accurate, you should be fine.
