Amazon Affiliate Question

Hello,
Simple question. I have done a ton a searching for the answer before i decided to start a thread but i cannot find one.

Simply put, is there a way to sell products through amazon affiliate on a wordpress page, but have the customer checkout and pay on your website rather than being directed to amazon to purchase from there? I feel as though this would be important if you are looking to become an authority site

So nobody knows how to?

The furthest you can go is to add the product to their amazon cart. Plugins like prosociate use woocommerce to accomplish this, but the visitor always ends upon amazon. No way around it.

why would amazon ever let you force a user to checkout/pay on your site - they lose all their upsell chances.
as they mentioned above you can have a cart/ecommerce "affiliate" site but they will always check out on amazon - it still works and is a valid way to go, but _you_ also want those people to end up at amazon, as they might convince the user to add something else to their cart which you'll get commission on.
