Amazon affiliate question please

Hi there forum. This may be silly but I have a question. Just starting with amazon affiliate program and I dont understand a thing.If a user click the add on my site but decides not to buy that specific item..and he grabs another item..will I still get my revenue for referring him to amazon ? or the affiliate link is valid only per a specific item? Thank you very much boyz

I have one more question please: If the user clicks on say two amazon affiliate links ..how amazon solve that? It will split the revenue?or first cookie has the priority

The second cookie will override the first cookie.

Yes, as mentioned above you will still get the revenue. In fact, you get revenue for anything they buy within the timeframe. As for the other question, you're really splitting hairs there. Your best bet would be to ask Amazon - or read through the TOS and see if it's covered.

But worrying about details like this is insignificant in the big picture. If you can drive a steady stream of traffic you will make money in spite of what happens in the small percentage of time you may lose a cookie.

You are not paying for clicks...you need to do a sale to have a commission

Sure, you will get commissions for all items they bought in 24 hours.
