So I'm thinking about starting to promote amazon products and I read that you can't shorten your amazon links and that you can't post them in ebooks, pdfs, or emails. Is there any where else that I can't post my affiliate link or any other regulations?

The reasoning behind that you cannot link in offline formats is that Amazon cannot track the source. So for example you cannot stick up your affiliate link everywhere on the street and generate sales by doing so. I would suggest you to Google on the TOS, maybe a summary if you are lazy.

- Don't mention price nor rating.
- Include a visible Amazon Affiliate Disclosure
- Provide value for the visitor

I have a question.
Does amazon provide an equal rate for all the world ?
What difference when someone from different countries buy from my affliate link ?
Thanks

Commissions vary from country to country, and you have to set up a different affiliate ID for each country amazon supports. So its a little bit tricky if you have worldwide traffic because you have to redirect each user based on their geolocation.

Thanks this is the stuff I was looking for so mine or other people don't get their account shutdown
