Are there any good guides to start making a living off Amazon from the 3rd World?

I notice that Amazon wants you to tell them the website you're going to put their products on(just like CPA networks), so it's OK to just put one but have many other websites?

    Thanks!

I've heard that you can get away with blank refers.. is that no longer the case? I'm look into venturing into the amazon affiliate program soon.. so I guess I should keep that in mind.

    Never tried that..

Just use a good PPV company

like traffic vance or linksador or media traffic

and make a splash page and target amazon..

    spend 50 bucks makes 500 ;)

is it just me or this thread happens to be in the wrong forum.. CS ?? Shhh :p

and yeah traffic arbitrage works well for amazon, but i think OP is looking for a method with less upfront investment (correct me if i am wrong)

And yes amazon is rather carefree, the 24hour cookie is a bit of a bitch though

Its 24 hour Cookies so you need to make the person buy it there
You need to work hard on even Stuffing Cookies its not easy job.

I dont stuff because I dont want to ruin my reputation with them and the perks of making more percentage of the sale.

Actually Amazon affiliate is a good start if u are new to IM world. the most important one is to get enough knowledge in niche/keyword research and SEO coz u can't use PPC.

My father and I do Amazon. He is currently working on a video training series but it is not going to be finished for a few months yet, sorry.

In a nutshell, the place most people go wrong with Amazon is that they build a site that is an "Amazon" site and then expect people to flock there and buy from them. This will not work. you need to create a lot of highly targeted sites (or pages within your authority site) and SEO them to get on the top of the Google rankings. Then you will get traffic and sales.

Some of your sites will be winners and some will be losers. If you can't handle that then you are in the wrong business. We currently have 36 Authority sites and promote over 370 products. Each product is promoted separately and in doing so we get very high rankings.

To give you an idea, we currently have created over 7000 web 2.0 pages (over the last year) and articles for these products as well as forum and other backlinking techniques.

The rewards: We do between $400 and $700 per day in commissions.

The real answer is to exploit Amazon in many different ways. In addition to that we publish a lot of stuff through them for a 50-50 split and also do a lot of reseller publishing too.

Unfortunately, when my dad got cancer, he was fired from his job and now there are a lot of medical bills and no insurance. Most of what we make goes for that right now. Last year we made over $300,000 from Amazon and his medical bills were over $250,000. No Ferrari this year, that is for sure. But that is OK, we are using the system to keep him alive and I am cool with that.

I guess motivation is an important factor as well. As you can tell, we are highly motivated ) Karma may have a little to do with it too, but I am not going to wax philosophical on you.

    Hope it helps

Outstanding! Great to hear of your success and wishing your father the best.

Just curious, are you getting a higher level of commission b/c of the volume of product you are selling? Or aren't they doing that anymore?

No, you need a good CS script that can blank/fake the referrer. You can only use the IMG tags on CB because they don't care about CS.
