Amazon affiliate program language question

Hi to all.
I have a doubt about the affiliate program of amazon, i hope someone can help me:
If i'am european or asian, but i want to promote stuff in english (so have english banners too), i have to register myself to the US amazon partner program? some one of you non US citizen did it? can you tell me your experience please?

Hey, it doesnt matter what country you are from. US Amazon is the main site so that is where you register. I have registered and i am in Australia. you should make sure your website looks somewhat decent before applying

So... Let's say that i'am German or Japanese:
I can apply for US amazon partner program and have amazon banner ads in english on my blog and get paid when someone buys things from them, even if the buyer it's let's say Vietnamise or Spanish.
It works like this?

EDIT: A question regarding the payments... Can i use an european bank account and receive direct deposit? with the US partner program i mean

Yes! it will be like you registered in the US. the only problem is that your advertised items will be from US so people in Vietnam or spain will have to pay international shipping, which could stop some from buying.

There are ways to automatically redirect people to their home country's Amazon but i have not looked into it

Honestly i am a noob at this! just started amazon a week ago and have not made a sale so i am not the best person to talk about this, sorry
