Amazon Affiliate Program Help??

I have just started a new review website for promoting amazon products. Yesterday I got 2 sales but the products are totally different from what I was promoting.

I am promoting mobile accessories but the product which earned me commission is "Shaving oil".

Any idea how this happened?

This is so common, you shouldn't be surprised.

You've probably done it yourself in real life. Drive to a place to buy X and you walk off with A, B and C.....

Once you have referred clients to amazon or any other shopping website, you will in most cases be getting commissions on any sales that you generate.

You get paid most of the items your visitors buy from Amazon within 24 hours from they first visit Amazon through your site.

they came to order via your affiliate link, and no matter what they ordered finally, you make the commissions

yup - when you promote amazon products you get targeted sales and no targeted sales -- as long as the person is ready to buy when they come to your site - then it can be profitable to use amazon.

I get people buying sex toys and all kinds of things - even though that's not what I'm in -- anyway all Sales are good to help boost your Commission %.

it happens most of the time. but yeah you will be getting commissions regardless

I have always loved Amazon associates US and UK due to the 24 hour cookie. I often see products of all shapes and sizes appearing in my reports. I focus on electronic products desktops, laptops, monitors etc. Just remember even if the sales only bring a few cents in every little helps!

wow, that is amazing. For all products across the whole amazon network or are there any restrictions?
