Good Afternoon Everyone!

Guys i have applied for amazon affiliate program, i haven't receive any email saying that i'm accepted. However, the email that i have received says that i need to drive 3 qualified sales within 180 days, then their specialists will review my site and see if they're gonna accept it or not.
i'm confused i don't know if i'm able to start promoting products or i should wait for an email from amazon associate.
Please any one clarify how this is work.
Thank you

Start promoting products. Once you get three sales, they’ll review your site and accept or reject it. If it is accepted you’ll get credit for the sales. If it is rejected, you will not.

Also, if it is rejected in this manner you can improve your site and reapply.

If your site is even half way decent it will be accepted. Original content, and no clear violations of the operating agreement are all that is really necessary for acceptance.

I get it,
Are they going to review the site right after three sales? my concern is that my site is general, so as it is like that, i'm planing to test various product categories on it before i jump to creating a nichy website. Do you think this way will prevent my website from being accepted ?
Thank you for taking the time to clarify this.
Cheers mate.

Around how long after the third sale does it get reviewed? I sold my third item last week and am eager to have it reviewed so that I can use their API.

From what I remember. You specify your site when you sign up, use the api to create links with your affiliate id and then get the 3 in 180 days. From my experience, I never heard back from them for any of the regions I signed up to (UK, US and Canada).

Did you get to the point of creating links with your affiliate iD embedded? You can track sales in the affiliates home page, have you hit 3 yet?

It does not matter if you are general or niche, as long as you follow their rules, they will accept your site.

HTH

Yeah, I sold 4 items and can create links but if I try to use the product advertising API:
Registration for the Product Advertising API is only available to Associates that have been reviewed and received final acceptance in to the Associates Program.

I think this is something they added recently, wondering how long on average it takes for a review after the 3rd sale.

Guys who have a problems with Amazon affiliate program? Did he ban your account for no reason before payment? After 3 sales my account not locked but after 1.5 months with 30+ sales was locked. The reason that my source does not have quality traffic or something like this.

I have never had an issue with .com or .co.uk at all, got accepted first time around and all was good.
Signed up to .ca and after 3 months no sale so they closed the ccount, due to no orders. I reapplied and over Novemeber had 5 orders over Black friday weekend, so the account was fine.

I'm sure they updated affiliate policies quite recently too, it's always worth checking those affiliate agreements from time to time.
