Amazon Affiliate possible?

I’ve spent a lot of time lurking, reading, and researching. I was wondering if you guys still think it’s possible to start an amazon affiliate website in 2018!

I’ve never done affiliates before but I was thinking I’d give it a good go! I can do all the work myself and I’d pay for adwords focus on the kids toys sector in the run up to Christmas.

Feedback/ Tips much appricated!

You should look about and build up a list of amazon affiliate sites.
Then cross reference these sites with a site like Ahrefs.
They will tell you the traffic, and what type of backlinks they have.
Then you can make a good guesstimate at what you need to do.
 
Go for it, you need good content as they check your site after the first sale, they can reject you then.

Thanks for the advice, what sort of content do they look for product content e.g titles, descriptions, images? Or do I need to jam my site full of blogs?

It depends on the type of site. If your blogging then good content, e-commerce site good unique descriptions of products. Amazon like you to give value, so best to think of that first

Excellent thanks - I was thinking of building a store and sending users off to amazon to purchase the product. Thanks for the tips
 
On Amazon, a tough moderation. But if you all accurately calculate and find a good offer, then you can get.

You can use prosciate for that, just remember not to just scrape Amazon product description, they hate people trying to be little Amazon's. Write your own. Good luck with your project
