Amazon affiliate link text

Is it safe to put something like "limited time amazon discount" as the anchor text for amazon affiliate links where the product has a discount. Would amazon consider this to be misrepresenting the product, as the discount is not necessary "limited time". I think this anchor text could be good for call to action.

What are you thoughts and experiences?

Even if "limited time amazon discount" won't get you in trouble with amazon, it'll do you no good anyway, because when they click on that link and there is no discount, they're not going to buy. Besides, you'll lose credibility and trust. People aren't stupid these days. I use plain and simple 'buy on amazon', and it works just fine.

P.S. I used to have anchor like 'click here for best discount' when I switched to 'buy on amazon' my CTR has increased by like 30% and sales are up too.
