Amazon Affiliate Journey with no experience

Hey Guys,

I'm new here. I've learned many new things about Internet Marketing on this forum. I'm very thankful to you all. But now I want to start my own journey to earn some good money.

I have no past experience with Amazon Affiliate but I've read many journeys and methods about it. I expect help from you all experienced IMers. I won't hide anything thing from you all during my journey. I will disclose everything with you all like my niche, methods and other secret things :D I will update this thread daily. If you have any suggestions, ideas and tips for me then you're most welcome here.


GOAL: At least $200 in first month

Target:
1. Finding Niche
2. Buy Domain and Web Hosting
3. Adding a theme and other modifications.
4. Listing 10 products daily (more than $100)
5. Promotion
6. $$$ :D

Day 1:



I've found niches for my website. Some of them are clothes and shoes. I know they are saturated but they are also easy to rank. I bought a new EMD domain and web hosting. Now I'm looking for nice WordPress theme. I'll let you know if i found one and also share with you all.

I will be using this theme. Light Weight & 100% Free ---->>> "bearded wordpress theme" (Since i can't post links so search it on Google)

Day 2:

Hey, It was a quite busy day for me. I was setting up my new theme for my website. I've listed some popular products with high prices. Tomorrow I will be doing some on-page SEO to improve my rank in search engines. Now I'm feeling very tired so I can't work anymore.

I have some questions in my mind.

Is it possible to use Google Adsense on same site? What if i'll apply for Adsense account using this site, will they accept my application since I'm using affiliate marketing on it?

Any help will be appreciated. :)


 
I would not recommend using two income sources on one website.You want your visitors to click on your affiliate offers, not on your adsense ads.

You'll be thinking, what if they dont like my affiliate offers, i can convert in adsense.... yeah, no.You build the site for this specific niche. So people will look for that if they want to buy that. If you dont convert, change something :)

Ninjaedit: If you like banners tough, there are banners for amazon. If you have to. I wouldn't ;)

I agree with Vekho, just target amazon. Also, you can use a software like the Azon affiliate toolkit to help you with the research, keywords and competition, and you should mainly concentrate on ranking and scaling up. I wasn't so good at ranking so it took me a couple months to start making consistent sales.
Make sure you also promote cheaper accessories related to the main product you are trying to sell. This can increase your sales count quicker and therefore your tiered commissions.
 
Day 3:

Sorry for late update. Actually I was busy somewhere. Anyway, I've listed more than 20 top rated products and added long tail keywords in every product page to rank my each and every product in search engines. Submitted my website to almost all major search engines. Added some All in One SEO Plugin. I also did some keyword research and found many low competition keywords for my niches (clothes and shoes) :D . Tomorrow I will be updating more products and make some videos for YouTube.

$200 a month is easy to achieve. Remember stay creative and think outside the box
