Amazon affiliate journey (outsourced everything!)

Hello this is my first thread!

Without wasting time lets dive into the topic!

my journey aim is to build two sites to 1k$ each within the next 6-8 months by outsourcing pretty much everything!

Here what i have done so far

site 1: May 19
Registed domain and set up the basic (wordpress and basic plugins)

7.5k words of content ( 2 best article and 2 single product reviews)

the site shows about 7 kws in ahrefs so far.

The product price ranges from 150$ - 2k$ with with high level commission. This should easyly cross 1k$ with little traffic.


By july ordered 50k words of content should get delievered by next week.


Site 2:

ordered the site from a seller for 437$

Started the content with 25k words. Waitied 15 days more to order a diversity link package that will dripfeed over a month.

Will add another 50k words of content both information and commercial!

I hope to monetize this site by both mediavine and amazon associates.

The price ranges of product from 10$ - 50$ but i do plan to diversify the income with this site.

The site already shows 60 kws in ahrefs so far

What the average search volume for your targeted niche and keyword? What about the competition? Will follow your journey. All the best :-)

i think this is gonna be a wonderful journey as i am also interested in amazon affiliate sites.

Interesting journey man! You got this. I’m on a journey right now too and it’s going to take a lot of time. It’ll be rewarding for us both in the long run!
 
First dollar has been made exactly after 2 months. I am on right month
so far total around 48 words have been posted. Plan to get it to 75k words both info and commercial by next week or so.

THe site 2 is just sitting i dont have the budget to rank it. THe keywords are climbing though.

Sound plan dude. I spend a lot of time looking at Amazon affiliate sites and you wouldn't believe how wasted hard earned traffic is. Make sure all your links work, make sure your call to actions (Amazon buttons) are very clear and really stand out. Once you are getting good traffic look at split testing your CTAs.

So far i am not worryied about cta and links and color schemes. Right now the priority is to churn out content as fast as i can.

Get it to 75k words within 3 months which would be in 15 days.

After that will start optimizing color and put images and videos

Personally

I just copy top sites are doing beacuse they get a ton of traffic and spend thousands of dollars on cro audits

For example for affiliate site
just copy wirecutter they have blue and red links so i made my links color dark If that make sense.

personally dont waste time unless you get 1000 visits a month on a post. Its very hard to test if you have below that traffic cause the sample size is too small.

low competiton keywords and added content build social profile and profile links on top social site for first month

Finish major part of content for the first three months then add a post of two every week to keep the site fresh.

Interlink links from old post to new post to get them index quick for your target keywords


after 3 you will have a good idea about whats working. replicate what kind of content converts and ranks.
 
Its been a while since i updated this post. so here it goes

SHort summary
  • I have been getting 5-20 visits a day
  • no sales since last update
  • roughly 65k words have been published 3 more articles been ordered for another 5k words should be published by a week or so

Off page seo


  • Baught a press release, video marketing and infographic submissions last month.
  • 6 guest posts from high authority site has been done so far. These sites receieve ton of traffic but usually anybody guest post on it so probably not that valuable (made tthese links last month)
  • Ordered 10 high authority guest post this month which yet to be receieved. These are mostly linking to money pages.

The ahrefs stats doesnt look that bad for 3.5 month old site. Lmao

Next target:

  • No links as i have made too many already last and this months

  • Publish 3 articles each 1500 words

  • Maybe make some quora or reddit links to get some traffic.

Tweak design and font size and color type etc for easier reading add images videos and other stuff to increase dwell time and decrease bounce rate and increase affiliate link clicks.





The site is doing is decent i am expecting it really pick up in november with traffic along with earnings. I have posted articles for even 50 search volume kws as well since they rank easy and keep motivated with commissions. I even target a kewwords 10$ product price lol.



What do you guys suggest? How do you think its looking so far?

About site 2 i didnt anything its just sitting i honestly have focused on site 1. But the keywords seems to be on rise recently. getting 1-2 visits everyday now.
