Amazon Affiliate Blog Help

So I'm planning on making an Amazon Affiliate website. My first one was failed and this is my second try.

I want help from SEO gurus about making my website homepage.

This is niche website and I will add only one kind of products. (ex: best running shoes)

1. Adding 10K words full review article of top 10 products to the homepage

The homepage will contain 10K words review about "best running shoes" and I will add more articles like best running shoes for men, best running shoes for women, best trail running shoes, etc...

OR

2. Making widgetized homepage like 10beasts.com, thoroughlyreviewed.com (not my sites or promoting them. just wanted to show examples of what I am talking about)

I've read Luqman's Amazon Affiliate Case Study on his nichepie site and saw he used widgetized homepage.

Would like to know which way is good.

well mate if u r gonna just have one type of product u can do 1 as it best portrays your products to the customers." Luqman's Amazon Affiliate Case Study " shows that luqman used widget homepage coz he had multiple type of products.

Why did your first Amazon site failed ? What are the reasons ? )

First of all, why would you expose your niche?
Secondly, that niche is too popular and since your first site failed I wouldn't suggest you start there.
Pick a smaller niche which you can rank articles for.

choose a niche related to the products, do SEO and drive traffic
