Hey guys,
I have been an Amazon influencer for over a year now (specifically for on-site commissions through the Amazon Influencer Program)
They’ve sent a warning message in my account a few days ago saying that my list of social media sites was not up-to-date and that they noticed traffic coming from one or more sites not included in my Associates account.
Now, I don’t actually share links in any off-line way and my sole participation is through the Amazon Influencer Program (on-site commissions - I only post videos on Amazon, I don’t drive traffic from outside). Nonetheless, I updated the entire list with ANY single possible social media/websites I own and I still got banned today.
The only thing that I can think of is I shared some Amazon links (they were not stripe links, just normal browser amazon URL links) with some of my employees that were helping me creating the videos on Upwork and Fiverr.
I’ve tried to delete all these links (especially on Upwork) but some of them still were there on Fiverr, as their policy doesn’t allow you to delete messages when sent.
That is the only reason I can think of for them banning my account. Although they banned me, this is what they said in the email:
“We would like to encourage you to utilize the platform to grow your associate business. We request you to conduct a thorough review of your account and rectify any compliance-related concerns. You may correct the violation and notify us when you are in compliance by using the customer service contact page: X, and for a timely response choose the subject 'Warning/Information Request Response' from the dropdown menu, and be sure to reference Issue Code X in the comments field. If you do not wish to continue to participate in the Amazon Associates Program it is important that you immediately stop using Amazon's Content and Amazon Marks by promptly removing”
Does this mean that they can reinstate my account? The thing is I am not sure what the problem is!
Has anyone ever had this issue? I would be very grateful for any advice on this.
