AMAZON + Adwords ?

Hi Adwords experts,

I am trying to advertise my amazon product review site via adwords. But I know that a bridge page issues might cause to get my ads disapproved. Here are my questions:

1. Are we allowed to promote amazon products (via a landing page) and will comply with their tos?

2. Does an adwords disapproved ad will get disapproved for future promotion or promoting another product from another niche?

3. Is there a way to get around with the bridge page problem? My kw is something like "cheap ****** on sale" and brings to a page with short review (less than 150 words) with a BIG LINK to amazon?

*I'm using accounts loaded with free $100 advertising funds. And yes I have a couple of them (10 +) to be used for this method.

You know the answer already. No It will come under bridge page policy.

If its an Ad which is disapproved, You can create another ad. Within the same niche or in another. Your account will have no issues with it.. However if you do repeat violation Your Domain or Entire account might be suspended.. In that case things goes wrong. So if they disapprove your ad with "bridge page" policy you should not resubmit your ad with little changes.

150 words and a big link to amazon is something won't bypass their guidelines. If you can manage to make a decent landing page (Search for few on themeforest or unbounce) which looks professional (Not made for the sake of makeing money but providing value) your chances are better. Make sure the page meet all other requirements.


For me getting affiliate ads approved is not a problem but to get them to convert at a decent profit is hard so i stick with Lead gen instead of affiliate marketing..

I think you can advertise amazon products without any problem at all in google adwords. Because, they have no restrictions or rules which state that products cannot be advertised.

Just use a nice landing page, and buy now button, so it will be more relevant to the users.

Better idea: Just call them! If your site throws off cash, they'll want a piece of the pie. And will tell you whats okay and what is not. (In some cases even review your page before you start a campaign!)

They're human after all. They like being asked more than trail and error approaches.

I advertise loads of my amazon affiliate sites via adwords. Never any issues (even had them reviewed). As long as your landing page is part of a decent site, then you are only using online marketing to help promote your site. Neither google or amazon has a problem with this.

Think of them seperate. Your advertising your sites via ad platforms. Your monetizing your sites with amazon affiliate.

Rule number 1, don't talk about the bridge.
Rule number 2 don't talk about the bridge.

Yikes... bridge page.. you said it and I think blogger blogs don't do well with amazon + adwords.. let me try again and give you the result.

I will try to create more content with less advertising. It's a simple review site so please bare with me if I will fail the second time.

Also, I will be running it again with another account loaded with free $100.

But unless you cover those footprints really well, adwords will be onto your multiple accounts in no time.
