So i'm running a couple movie sites and have about 30 movies right now...not alot, but it makes me about 5 bucks a day. Only advertised on YT.

And was sitting here thinking on how to automate the process of creating a video for each movie...and i have a solution...but no software. :rain:

    Here's my idea,

Lets say I make a video template and use a variable for the movie name so lets say the movie is composed of 10 slides.

I would say "If you'd like to see %MovieName% goto www.site.com"

The software would take a txt document loaded with movie names (one per line) and would insert the movie name into the variable area of the movie.

So after about an hour or so I would have 30+ videos ready already customized with my movie names in there. And just load them up and watermark them or whatever and submit them to the video networks.

If anyone has an idea on how to do this...or software that already does...please let me know!

Animoto - you upload photos and it creates a nice slideshow effect, you can bulk upload images if you have them in a folder, so you could just use an automated image downloader for all your films, then it would literally take like 10 seconds to upload them and put in some text at the end and beginning about visiting your site.

    Hope it helps you out!

    Ah sweet!

I've used Animoto a couple times...just never paid attention to that aspect of it. May give it a try.

    Thanks again!

    I found an image scraper - http://www.kaptainkrayola.com/kaptain-image-scraper-10/

    That should help you out.

You could probably setup a macro to do this if you plan on doing it for hundreds of videos, but it can't really take that long. You could always outsource it, would probably cost you less than 1$ per video.

I signed up for the annual membership for animoto, it's pretty flexible and can do some amazing things with image. You can insert text screens within the image slides pretty much at your discretion
