I did the ASM course with a couple friends last year.
Most of the course is common sense but it's structured very well so by the end of the course you have at least 1 product up and running.
In my opinion what ASM provide is hugely over priced. But saying that... launching brands and selling on Amazon is now a major part of my empire, so I can't really complain. My fiance even has her own product line on amazon she runs part time.
Note: You do require start up cash! Launching a successful product can cost you around $1000
ASM is not a get rich quick course.
If you stick to what ASM teaches you, you'll end up trying to sell things like iPhone cases competing with a million other people.
Imo, take what you learn from ASM and apply it to your knowledge of branding, market trends etc to form long term brands. As with every saturated method you need to put your own twist on it to get ahead.

I went quickly through the first modules and I find it's a rock solid course, it cuts your learning curve by 100 as you get la creme de la creme of Amazon FBA strategies so you can start your FBA sourcing business. BUT overpriced!! 5K + money for inventory... I think they should rethink the pricing to something like $3000 or so, but each year they keep on raising the prices... a friend told me that the next asm would get up to 6K, can anyone confirm that?
