Hi Everyone - if you engage in white hat SEO, chances are that being able to tie your content with your affiliate revenues and conversions can help you fine-tune your content strategy. I searched for "track affiliate conversions" in Google Analytics, and the only posts / video and content that came up led to gurus and experts showing you how to track "outbound clicks" in GA.
How's that advice for affiliate marketers living and breathing out of real conversions and sales?

While its true that the conversion funnel will start with an engagement (form submit or outbound click), it's also true that only a portion of your content will lead to actual sales and conversions.
it's also true that even when a piece of content doesn't lead directly to a sale, it does support the general objective of the site - traffic.

Yet, if you can tie conversions and revenues to each piece of content, chances are that you'll also be able to improve content accordingly, AB test engagements, offers and get the full picture of your business, understanding your audience and even lead you to run PPC campaigns.

As a SEO marketer, what are the questions you'd like to ask google analytics?
