Am Page Rank 2 Less Than 2 Months

Should I be excited? My domain is 1 month, 17 days old and I am already Page Rank 2.

What do you guys think?

I know its not that great, but how long does it normally take you guys? I know, lots of people will say that page rank doesn't matter - and i feel like that myself, however it does make you feel good to know things are improving on projects.

Dude i updated my domain before 10 days ago i m on 7th spot and competition is medium with 2900 searches monthly,, i have medical niche (Don't have EMD) share your niche dude,,
 
Do not listen to manjeet, don't share your niche.

Good job on PR2. I know what you mean, it does feel like progress. I think it PR matters a lot, and it can only help.
 
I brought up my new blog middle of November and on the last Google update a week or two ago I was placed at PR3.

I was told that PR3 is pretty much the standard and easy to achieve if you have decent appearances in the search results.

I am getting about 900-1600 impressions a day in Google, though most are in 50-200 spot range and not for my keywords.

PR4 and above are harder to achieve.

Congratulations man! =) I also want my domain to have higher pR but it is only pr 0.. The site is self is on page 1 though page rank is not that high.
 
Google gives PR2 like candy... wouldn't be that excited. I have a blog with 3 posts that's about 3 months old and a few backlinks and it's PR2
 
Its not amazing, but that did happen pretty quick. Mine usually take me longer than that, good job!
 
Dear Google page rank is updated twice a year that is on January and June so you are lucky to receive the trust in the Google period !
 
I had a site that was PR3 for 6 months; with Google's latest PR update, my site dropped to PR2. However, its rank increased from page2-3 for all keywords, to page 1 top 5 position for all keywords.
 
Yeah you have every right to be excited. :P gratz.

I have personally seen people getting Pr4 in 1 month.

My own 1 month old site got PR 3 few days back.
 
What... I did SEO for a year to one of my sites (not WP though, nor did it have new content often) and after like 8 months I got PR1... Been 14 months now still PR1 :(
 
no wonder mate, if you make some high authority backlinks & gain some decent traffic to your site this is just a simple process. ;)
 
my brand new domain got PR 4 within last update just because ALN submission
 
My dick would not be hard that much from a PR increase... The right time to be excited is when you see the money rolling in, happy visitors that spend long time on your site or your site is getting many natural links... PR means just.... nothing
 
You'd better concentrate on ranking :) Still, you are doing something right if you got PR increase!
 
Really... PR in general is nothing to get excited about. It shows nothing and is at times completely random. Some of my sites have gotten PR 2-3 within a few weeks while other haven't gotten above PR 1 after half a year (with the exact same link building)

I have site which got PR5 within 2 months. I gave between 300-500 Actual PR, low OBL do follow links. Forget the PR its just for those who care about it. I can about traffic and earning. If anyone wanna see the site, then I can send him in PM. See the site yourself and check its whois for site age.
