If this is not in correct section please remove it or change its section.

I started Kindle pulishing recently. I wanted to compile information about worlds first 20 (or whatever) sports cars in a kindle. I wanted to take this info from wikipedia. Information would be like name of car, manufacturer, country, top speed, acceleration, price etc. As u can see that I can not rewrite any of that to make it unique. I will have to use that info as it is. I read Wikipedia's terms of use and could not find anything relevant (may be I couldn't understand their difficult english).

Am I violating their rules?
any help would be appreciated.

Yep. Amazon will have a problem with it. Why rely only on Wikipedia? There are plenty of other resources.

You can use the information without copying it word for word. Read the information and rewrite it in your own words.

I know of some other sources but they have exactly the same information with exact same order but they also dont allow users to use their info commercially.

I clearly mentioned that almost nothing can be rewritten or spun. Read my Opening Post again please.

Amazon will likely block it after reviewing it as the information is easily available on the internet. Try using multiple sources.

I read your opening post...

While you cannot change the information, you can still write it in such a way that it's unique. Place the information inside a short article in your own words instead of a list format.

Amazon will understand that if the car is called like that and costs this price you cannot suddenly rewrite it into false information. You should provide references indicating from where you got the data from though and not simply copy 1:1, but maybe change order of the information, rewrite descriptions, add your own info (e.g. short history about manufacturer) etc.

This one is what I will be trying to do.
