Hello, I'm 16 years old and I want to get into affiliate marketing. I was wondering if that is to young, I have a paypal account that could be used but it's under my dad's name.

Is it a possibility for me to create sites marketing products to earn money at such a young age?

Nope, its the perfect age to start. The trick will be signing up for Aff networks. But if you just want to run with adsense, you shouldn't have any problems.

Just don't let your grades suffer and remember to go out and have fun... this shit can be addicting.
 
I am young, 1 year younger than you, I'm 15.

Many people are amazed when they find out that I'm 15, but I personally think age doesn't matter, 15, or 35, it does't matter online. It only matters for offline marketing where you actually have to meet the clients, but I don't do that that. A person who is 35 doesn't have a lot more advantages than me, but in what I do, there are no advantages in age.

Don't listen to others, I've had 1 guy tell me that I should stop and concentrate on other stuff, I don't listen to him, I actually don't care.

If you love IM or want to have your own money, "JUST DO IT"

P.S I started when I was 12 or 13.

There are some people here as young as 13, man, so of course you can. You can get checks cashed out to your name usually, or you could just open your own PayPal account. Unless this is against your parents' rules? I would just talk to them about it if so.
 
oh my God I wish I had discovered IM when I was 15 or 16, I'm 21 still struggling t, make my second dollar. You are not too young, keep at it and by the time you're you'll buy yourself your own first sports car.

I started my first buck when I was 13, and it was like 20 cents for a 100 word article :D More than enough for someone who is going to earn money online and it is worth 2 tea here.

Now I see 13 yr old hiring article writers. WTF :D

Now its up to you to choose if you are too early to get into. I would say you are late already.
 
Not too young but don't go at it like crazy, your young and should be stress free and enjoying your childhood 16 is a great age to be. To many younger people just stay home on the internet all day and night, don't be like them :-)

I wasn't sure because of the payment methods mainly, I can most likely get my own paypal account (I know it's not against any parental rules, it may be a pain in the *** for them though so it might not happen any time soon).

Thanks, I use my brothers Paypla (UK Registered) so that's how I have paypal and I'm sure many use their siblings Paypal (at least that I know off). It won't be a pain in the ass for your dad.

I have bought a service from LukaB and Im almost 40 so that should answer your question :haha: Get good at something and make money from it, there is no age limit on that.
 
In everyday life, you sure see people thinking less of you because of your age. Well, on the internet, numbers can be faked. There are litteraly no limits but those you set for yourself!

I can't cash checks and I don't quite know what sites I should be using for this nor how to set them up for paypal deposit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
