Alright, so I've read a few stories about people making some alright spare change with AC, so I decided to make my own AC account (was about 6 months ago I'd say).

Anyway, I'm not in the US, but I had two articles published but it doesn't look like I was paid anything for them. Sorry if this has been asked before and I have missed it, but my search brought up little relevancy to the information I was looking for.

Also, do I need an account in the US in order to get paid each time I submit an article? If I don't have a US account, when will I get paid for each article?

So my main question is, why wasn't I paid anything at all for these two articles that were published?

Just had a quick look at AC, and it says something like; 'if I am not from the US, I can only get paid performance payments, not upfront'. Does that basically mean I get views or don't make anything for each article I submit?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you only get paid for views.

Upfront is only for US residents/US citizens. All other countries only get paid $1.50 per 1000 page views.

Thanks for the help, is there I can buy and use a US created account, or that wouldn't work?

Alternatively, does anyone know of any sites similar to AC that will pay non US writers?

Thanks again

Some members here in BHW sells verified AC accounts :D
Or you can create it by yourself, just search on the forums...

And yes, there are others sites like AC. But, AC is the one that pays most.

Accounts for other countries using AC is pointless to me. You will get paid cents per article.AC is starting to become a big ripoff to me.

@ daniel - yes, to get upfronts you'll need to start up a new account or get a PVA mate

@ alwayscashinin - If you're struggling to get things accepted or only get low offers it's because you aren't giving them the things they want. It could be grammar, broken English, saturated keywords/niches etc.

Like I've talked about all along, people have to test and tweak their articles with AC and give them just what they want. If not, it won't work for them.

Everything was accepted until now so I know it's not the grammar. I wrote for Demand Studios just fine. I think it is just not worth the work for $20 a day if that. I am moving on to e-whoring or something.<br />

I might look into getting a US verified account, would I need to have a number set-up or something like that in order to verify? And I'm guessing I'd need to get a new account every time I pass $500?

Thanks everyone

Unless you plan on turning in the tax forms, then yes. You'll need a new account as soon as you get banned or reach the limit.

If you purchase a PVA from one of the members on here, it will already be verified via telephone. You won't need to do anything to the account besides change the Paypal address linked to the account and of course submit more articles.
