Am I Linking my pages together too often?

I have 7 pages. There is a main page, which links to 3 other more detailed pages. Each of those 3 pages links to 3 smaller pages, but they are unique enough to exist. Basically in this little network of pages the main page has the most links at 4 inter links on the page. Is this too many seo-wise?

Are these separate sites or just pages on the same site? If the case is the latter then it's simply considered good navigation if you link to related or more in-depth content from your other pages, so I wouldn't sweat it.

Actually if with page you meant inner page of a website, the more netlinking you do the better

I'd not bother about it .. a typical wordpress blog has links to other posts and those posts link to other posts and this is an accepted internal link pattern by most search engines. So definitely your linking pattern does not have 'too many' links from SEO point of view
