Started a couple of months ago with around 700 followers and I am right now at 3.3k.

Im gaining approx. 100 followers every week, I do everything by hand so no bots etc.

- Using right hastags for my niche ( luxury )
- Consistency ( posting each and every day )
- Follow/Unfollow method
- Quality photos only
- I sometimes use an app to schedule posts

I have a feeling Im growing too slow
Am I too slow? Let me know if you have any experience growing your account without bots!

If yes let me know what I should do to change this, if not give me your thoughts on this.
I appreciate your help.

Well how many likes do you get?

The Grass Is Always Greener!!

It will often feel like things are going frustratingly slowly in the early days of starting a business. It's a little difficult to determine if things are going slowly as it will rely heavily on the type of Niche.

Why don't you run an experiment?

Start another Instagram account, in a similar or even the same niche - and try to grow in a handful of different ways, see what's most effective and then use that on your main account.

Anywhere between 300-550 likes, 900-1.2k+ reach
With 3.3k i have to say that 300 and 500 is low (atleast for me) from my account i get min 300 at the 1.1k mark

It is a luxury niche but I dont want to start all over again it takes too much time doing everything manually. I need to know if this type of growth is ok for my niche or slow and if it too slow what I should do about it.

Have seen many competitors die because ( I think ) they gave up so thats a plus I guess

100 Followers every week is considerably slow considering the niche you're in.
Luxury pages gain thousands of followers every week, let alone every day.

I would suggest you to experiment with the targeted sources which you can use to follow the accounts. Mess around with your content a little, try uploading better high resolution pictures to see if it makes any noticeable difference.

Also, you're try boosting your numbers a little to make yourself look more popular and get more followers easily.

I think you are talking about big accounts/ bot accounts. Remember I only have 3.3k and Im doing everything manually. The ones that are getting many followers are the 20k+ accounts. Many, many people gave up in my niche. There were many competitors but they stopped and they werent gaining that many followers before they stopped.

But anyways what methods would you use to boost your page up?

If you don't use bots and doing it organically, the numbers are fine but still somehow low. My suggestion is for you is to target your audience. Follow more people within your niche & interact with them. Be creative and original with your content. Use hashtags accordingly.

i have a luxury account semi-botted , it's less than 4k, it's growing slowly too, especially when i was targeting big luxury accounts folllowers, those So what i did is changing my target accounts to similar niches and i start getting slightly better results ..

Yes could be your target accounts.

I like to spend a good amount of time scraping and filtering my targeted users. You just have to find out what works.

Since you are going non automated your trials will be a little longer. Try experimenting with different traffic sources on weekly basis. one week try following users from this account(s) next week try another etc..

How are you getting your targeted lists? are you scraping or just following users from a similar account or niche???

this is not much .... are you doing it manually or with a bot ?

You're always gonna want to be going faster. My account is gaining followers slightly faster than yours and I wish it was faster as well. Stay patient, you'll get there.

You might be too slow in comparison to your competitors and some members here who can grow their accounts really fast. But If your have quality content and you are doing it manually I highly recommend you buying shoutout from different pages who have large number of followers. This will increase your speed organically and drastically. Go for shout outs and try to experiment with caption and hashtags. If you are really investing yor time in this page then invest some more try to interact with your followers as much as possible. If your followers really likes your page them give them an offer of shoutout for shoutout. This will help.

I agree, shoutouts are great for organic pages.

If you are running a high quality page then look for high quality traffic..

or keep it low and slow with whatever you are doing now. Nothing wrong with that It will pay off in the end

Running accounts in bulk and or automation when done correctly is a little complex and expensive. No way around it.

Thank you all for the advice, I forgot to mention that I am not doing IG as my main thing. The things that take most of my time are school and crypto, IG is just a little sideproject I am doing for myself so that might explain the slow growth.

Anyways many of you said ( more or less ) I should change the way I target my followers, currently ( as stated before ) I use the follow/unfollow method and Im targeting people that follow large luxury pages. I sometimes comment on other pages as well, what do you guys recommend I should change? Targeting people more specific but how?

I have thought about shoutouts but they are relatively expensive ( ~$30 ) and they dont do that much so Im not sure about that one too

If this is not your main venture, then yes I can see the slow results. with that being said, you have to get creative with how you are searching for your users. Getting users from Location ID's is a great source to find targeted users.

In your case it would be something like, Scrape the location id of a physcial store for major luxury brands such as GUCCI, LOUIS Vuitton, or whatever ur niche may be in.

thats usually a good source of relevant fresh content that users have tagged.

Great idea! I mostly post photos of luxury cars and sometimes yachts/hotel photos that kind of stuff, so I guess I should scrape the location ID of big car brands? Or doesnt it work like that, and btw how did you do that, I have never done this ID scraping thing. Thanks for the help my man!
