Am i getting scammed?

I am selling for a few months now on ebay.I recently got a message from an user from Italy that wants to buy 150 pieces of one product.The next day i got a message from another user from Germany that wants to buy around 3000-5000 pieces of the same item.Is there a scam that i don't know about like sending me money and then getting it back somehow when they receive the stock?

Smells like a scam! Be very careful. I have been contacted when selling cameras and ipods with the same thing. Ask them to use an escrow service. You will see them disappear! Good luck. I hope it works out for you.
 
if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. For something like that use ESCROW. And use one of your choosing, not theirs.
 
Insist on using an escrow service. If its a scam you wont hear from them again.

With escrow can't they just receive the goods and still say it was defective and take there money back.
 
escrow has worked for me many times on ebay though ive only witnessed like 2 or 3 scams
 
but doesnt paypal work in that way too, like escrow?
 
Did you specify how many items you had "available" in the listing? If you only listed "X amount available", then you would know that they would have seen how many items you had specified and would not be asking for insane amount. Does that help?

Not if you'r a seller, there are far too many of us on this board who have been
screwed over by buyers with the help of paypal. All the buyer has to do is say
"goods defective" or "not as advertised" and paypal will reverse the transaction
without even asking for return proof of posting. And not only that they'll charge
you for the pleasure.
 
Pretty obvious it's a scam of some sort.. wouldn't take the risk if i were you..
 
3000 of the same items?! r they doing big business or what? what's the purpose? lol.
 
it sounds too good to be true mate. You should be a very careful. Use escrow.
 
HAHA! The guy hasn't posted in 9 months and still getting answers!
