Am i doing it wrong?

Hi y'all. SEO has been a total circus for me the passed couple of months, my strategy is pushing high quality GP's & niche edits to my root slow & steady, and some sponsored links, 2-3 every quarter but myu main keyword always tends to go way high, then fall out of top 100. Should i be doing something else to my links like t2 to t1 links, indexing my links? (i don't currently) my website is structured nicely in terms of semantics & technical seo. Are you guys experiencing any fuckery too?

you are on the right track. but, try adding link indexing and tier 2 links to support your tier 1 links for better stability

That's right, maintain your links and try to get backlinks from forums to your t2

Make sure that you are not overdoing with the exact match anchors. You can use more long tails, naked, generic, and brand anchors to diversify the anchor profile. Also, check the existing backlinks. If any of the links were broken you will see some fluctuations in the keyword rankings.
