Hi, how are you guys (i read the site alwyas but this is the first time i logged in and actually started a thread).
I'm currently working at a e-commerce (ebay type) company based in South America. After a couple internal changes in the company i landed in the linkbuilding area. I'm a marketing student but i never practiced this activity before.
Basically my goal is to get 5 links with good authority per week.
What i've been doing these days was a research for competition's backlinks, looking where did they put it. Also i've started linking the company into good quality directories. Last, i'm constantly researching for new content on social mentions in different blogs, sites, communities of my country.
The first linking move i made was contacting a couple real estate agencies because i saw a lot of them ofthem publishing in our site their propierties.. so i asked them to put their catalog on the site in exchange for a link in their homepage.
Extra info: The company has a blog too where they write a lot of weekly content.
So the question is.. i am doing it right so far? I'm getting fired after a couple weeks? I have a co-worker that does this job with me but he kinda sux.
I dont want you guys do my work for me haha, but i'd appreciate some specific little tips to continue with the task.
