Am i being blocked or something?

I can't access BHW normally anymore, i have to use a proxy to access the site, anyone else having this problem, i haven't chanced anything here i thought BHW was offline the past days due to the earlier database problems.

But that was clearly not the case and i went in cold turkey state for nothing :(

Seriously why is it impossible to connect to BHW with my normal IP?

Hmm I have never had that problem at all. I dont think your IP is being blocked?
 
No, you aren't being blocked. I just checked the banned IP logs and your's isn't listed there. One other user has already complained about this as well, and it may have to do with the policies we have in place to stop the DDoS attacks. If you use any kind of browser or speed tweaks, the server may temp-ban your IP, as it may think you're part of the botnet.

We're moving to a new server tomorrow, and may not even need the extra protection that Trophaeum installed (not sure yet). So, if it hasn't gone away within 24 more hours, please let us know.

Edit: I'll check with Troph later today and see if he is using a secondary ban list.
 
Dave, can you not just change your IP address?

Thank you for looking into it, i will sit it out until BHW is moved to another server, big change that the problem will solve itself

No i wish i could change my IP address (and not only for this problem :) )but i have DSL and that has a fixed IP.
 
I had this problem too. I was unable to access BHW for almost an entire day each time. This does not happened to me lately though.
 
umm i had it too.... whenever i tried posting i was not allowed to... i could see it n thats all... :(
