I recently found a knowlegeable developer on Upwork and I've hired him for a few small jobs which he's refused payment for so far. (He says he usually just works larger gigs and not to worry)
I was telling him of my Fb Ads troubles with getting my accts flagged/disabled and he told me about a $$ making opportunity and basically asked me if he could use my developer account on Upwork to get more projects/income generated since they won't allow him to bill clients if he's already got clients billed for the same hours - thus limiting his total income potential. If he can use my acct. he'd pay me 20% of the revenue for each job. Of course, I would also take out 30% additional from that for paying taxes since it would look like I made his income. He definitely gets a lot of work so it wouldn't be chump change.
I've done some due diligence and haven't found anything that tells me he's trying to get one over on me. The only drawback I see is somehow getting my Upwork acct banned, which would suck since I use that site quite often.
Anyone ever run into this one??
