I can't stop paying for the internet. I have a 2 year contract for the internet which expires in about 10 months. If I wanted to end that contract, I'd literally have to pay those 10 months in full. That's the contract.
The FREE tv service was like a free addition to my internet deal, or at least it was "sold" to me like that. This is why I was under the impression that the free tv channels deal would end at the same time my internet deal ends.
But the tv channels deal ends in 2 years, like a seperate thing. And then when my internet deal ends in 10 months, the tv deal continues for another 14 months. And I don't even know if for those 14 months I'd have tv channels AND internet, or only the tv channels.
I may change ISP, depending on what special offers are available by the ISPs in my city when my current internet contract expires. And let's say my current ISP offers the best special offer, but they don't offer it for renewals, then I'll change ISP and get the next best deal for my bottom line.

THIS was the reason why I asked because I didn´t understand that part because you mentioned you will have to keep paying for your Internet for 14 more months.
If you don´t know ask who does (The company) or, it has to be stipulated on the contract.
But, the safest way is to contact them directly.
Hey, my internet contract expires in 10 months...What will happen with the TV deal afterward?.

I get a call from my internet service provider the other day, offering me free TV channels. I say nothing is free, what's the catch? They say there's no catch, it's free.
All right, let's do it...
Today they came over and set it up, and I signed the contract. After they left I'm looking at the contract and I see it ends in 2 years from today. But my current contract for the internet expires in 10 months. I though the channels went together with my internet contract.
And that's the catch! Now I'm stuck paying for this for 14 more months after my current internet package expires.
That aside, under normal circumstances I would have gotten a new package for internet when my current one expires, and I would get 6-12 months free internet, and then some $25/mo for the next 12-18 months (2 years contract). Even if my current internet provider won't offer a special offer on a renewal (like Hostgator), I could just switch to a different provider and get my discounts and call it a day.
Anyway, I did a stupid thing. I knew there was a catch. And for a split second it did cross my mind that if there's a new contract then the contract expiry date could be an issue, but that split second wasn't enough to form a thought and have me act on it. And that aside, those fucks should have laid down the situation for me instead of promising "free". It ain't free! Big picture, 2 years from now I'm $300 lighter than I would normally be because of this "free" business.
The good thing is that I have 14 days in which I'm allowed to cancel the contract, which I will. But these pricks see what they do they wrote on the contract that it was signed on the 26th of June. But it wasn't, it was signed on the 30th of June. And it's Friday, so if I don't go there on Saturday, fast forward to Monday and I've already lost 9 days out of those 14 where I'm allowed to cancel the contract.
Anyway they work tomorrow (Saturday) so I'll go there first thing in the morning and get clarification on all the details, and if I'm right, cancel the fucking thing straight away. And if they give me any crap about how I'm not allowed to cancel it because reasons, that's breaking the law and my rights, so I'm gonna sue them

Then she finds who did and calls him, and he gives the go-ahead to cancel the contract...
I'm already pissed now, as if I give two shits about your company's internal procedures. You pricks!!!
But then she can't cancel it because the contract was only signed yesterday and it hasn't been finalized yet. Like, it hasn't been created in their system yet. And seeing as it's Saturday, I'm probably gonna have to wait until Monday/Tuesday for that to happen. Then when the contract gets created in the system and the package is activated, then I can go in and cancel it.
The only good news is that my 14-day period in which I'm allowed to cancel the contract starts counting from the moment the package is activated, not from the moment I signed it. I also called their central office and confirmed this.

Seriously now, they won't. I'll know when my package gets activated, because the tv stations will start working. Ugh, I have to connect the router again...
Once it's activated I'll go in and they'll cancel it. If they don't, lawyer!
