"Always Online" Livechat Plugin?

Hey BHW, do you know a Chat Plugin for Wordpress without logging in to a external Dashboard?
I tested several Plugins but they all require permanent Login and as soon as I close the site the chat will go offline

So is there a way to "fake" the online status of a chat? I'd like to get an e-Mail notification instead but customers should
think the chat is actually online

I don't know about fake the online status. But you should try tawk.to service. It's completely free and also has apps for Android, iOS, Win and Mac.
So, whenever a user would try to reach you. You'll get a chat request over to your all clients.
