Used Piwik for several of my clients. It's REALLY heavy on the database backend(I'd definitely buy a separate db server for it), but it works great and has some truly detailed reporting.

I can vouch for statcounter. They even have a wordpress plug that makes it easy. The free version is fine unless you get tons of traffic. You can setup multiple domains under the same account and each account does not interfere with the log limits of the others. What's nice about it is that you can see refers as they come in and what their navigation path on your site was, unlike GA.
