G is getting too anal now with phone verification and account limits, etc.

What are good alternatives to Gmail for throway IM accounts?

i think gmail still the best..
after gmail, i prefer choose hotmail than yahoo..

You can use verification on Gmail, as after that no hassles and the same account works for blogspot and others if you want an IM account or are looking for backlinks from articles etc.

Otherwise Yahoo Mail UK comes with POP3 and is the default with SEnuke right and it works good.
