The one which I'm using presently is pretty good... They have their plugins for chrome which keep your data private and no other user can see it. I'm not a very heavy user so search limit has never been an issue for me.

Cheaper thatn ahrefs and it gives you the backlinks your competitors are ranking for, the tool does more than that, but it is an extremely good deal.

I very much doubt you will find anything for free, that will come close to Ahrefs.

Actually other users cannot see your search history in the group buys, except if you add (you shouldn't) your website as a project. While obviously your own account is the best option, for Ahrefs + Semrush you need $300 or so. With group buys you can get them for $10 with some other tools extra.
