Alternatives for "?__a=1&__d=1" aka getting JSON output without accounts?

It seems today attaching "?__a=1&__d=1" to an Instagram url to receive a JSON output stopped working.
Maybe it will come back, maybe it won't.

What are the current alternatives to get JSON output without an account?

Seems they got stricter and "?__a=1&__d=dis" still works.
Well, I got some more information about the public endpoints while looking for it.
