I was using Binance myself before switching over to Kraken and CoinBase. Could recommend either of those, they’ve got decent trading and withdrawal fees.
Coinbase, Kraken, Kucoin or ByBit would be some I could personally recommend. I’m using Coinbase as my main platform right now. kraken has a pretty good crypto card with a decent cashback %.
If your main concern is random account freezes, I’d probably look at Kraken first. Bybit and OKX are good for active trading, but no centralized exchange is completely safe from compliance holds.
Currently using Kraken, used Binance prior to this and honestly I couldn’t really complain about either one. Kraken seems to have better overal support.
haven’t used any platform other than Binance for like a decade now, so maybe I’m not up to date on all the pro’s and con’s. I have heard good stuff about CDC, maybe look there.
Binance has become quite strict these days, and any suspicious transaction could potentially result in an account being restricted or locked. I think switching to Bybit or OKX might be a better option.
honestly if you are keeping large amounts on any cex you are risking a freeze eventually. kraken is probably the safest regulator-wise but their compliance can be just as annoying if they flag something. bybit is decent for trading but i wouldnt store long term assets there. best bet is to just keep your main stack in a cold wallet and only send to exchanges when you actually need to trade or cash out. relying on any single platform to hold your stuff is just asking for trouble these days...
