Alternative Method If You Can't Use Copyscape

I actually wanted to post this on my 100th posts but I totally surpass it by two post.

Anyways, I would like to share a cool trick I've learned a couple of months ago on how to determine if your content have been stolen or copied without your consent. Or maybe you decided to use someone else' contents (LOL) but don't want your website to get penalize by G for duplicate.

Since the Free Copyscape provides limited service on the daily basis what you can do to check the originality of your contents is to copy the first paragraph (between 50 to 75 words) and paste it on G00gle search engine. Then press the "search button."

Although this method will not tell you the actual percentage of the contents that are duplicated, it will highlight the duplicated words, sentences, and paragraphs related to the pages that are already indexed in G00gle. The results alone will tell you if your spun content is unique enough to be posted on your website/blog.

Do the same with the middle paragraphs as well as with the last paragraphs. This process will take you less than 2 minutes to do if your article is only about 500 words long.

Again, I just want to emphasize that this is an alternative trick to use if Copyscape provides you with limited use on the daily basis.

Nice thing about looking at google for duplicates is it will help find close synonyms, so you can detect "badly" spun duplicate content.

Search your text in "quotes" and without

Also, check cache too. Don't want to get hit with dup content from a dropped or site that's no longer indexed, but cache is still around.

Plagium has as free checker that works pretty good. I use their paid version as it's much better than CS. The free Plagium will give you good results.

I use ariclechecker.com for checking my articles and it shows good results too.

Oh well this is a good ! Its some good food for though although this is what i always do to check whether or not my articles in my blog has been stolen !

It is common for a lot of IMers and BHers. But I'm pretty sure there are some people here who don't know about it and will benefit from this FREE and simple method.

I think its a great alternative to paid service of CS. Besides, not a lot of people don't think SC and other similar services are that great. I think it just really depends on their experience.

If anyone else have any suggestions just post them on this thread. It can be either a software, Free Online services, or Paid Online services.

I use plagiarisma.net, its free and a good alternative to copyscape.
