    Hi there,

I have previously been making quite a lot of money from AdSense, but after reading through their policies again I have decided to stop using it, just incase they decide to ban me (which they could do, but unlikely, I just don't want to take the risk!).

I don't really want to use surveys or a banner type method anymore, so what are the alternatives? Pop-ups etc?

The pages have 178k and 64k fans. It is a become a fan, click the link (which takes you to an external site) and view the video type page, so what would you do?

I may just turn my attention towards selling status updates etc, but I think there is a lot of money to be made from the actual content as well, so could you help?

    Thanks a lot,
    Max

Use niche related products. You can get some good money out of your fans if they get what they want.

Ex.: If you use an app on you FP like Farmville and nearly every fan of the page playes FV on your page, promote farmville guides. Just simple! A lot of them will buy.

I think I got in and out quick enough lol.

The page is a humorous sort of football (soccer!) page - it's about a popular program in Britain so I'm going to struggle to find a 'product' to sell to them.

How about finding an advertiser and taking a one-off fee from them to promote on this page for a certain amount of time? Is that common or not?

I also saw a Lovefilm affiliate post by one fan page today, do they make much money? I'm going to have a good browse around this forum.

    Thanks!

    Thanks so far

@Gollum - I'm now watching that thread closely - Thanks

Any other suggestions? So far, the idea of selling ad space on a permanent basis seems quite appealing - cut out the middle man!
