I was just going though the net and found a very good yahoo site explorer alternative, thought I would share it. This might be shared or talked about before but I could not find it that is why I am sharing it. Please ignore if you are already aware of it.

Here is the url: - http://www.blekko.com

This has been discussed before in a few threads but I have to agree that Blekko is an awesome replacement to YSE!

I'd like to point out that you can see SEO statistics of any site by using /SEO slashtag like this:

mydomain.com /SEO

You have to be logged in to access SEO pages but it's worth it and free :)

noob question, but what it is so good about blekko? As I see that they have the seo tool, but not really useful.

It gives lots of important information in one page and for free. While it might not be useful to you it certainly is useful for me and many other people.

Blekko will definitely development of reputation. A lot of google already realized the shut down of YSE and yet only Blekko was up to try and eat up industry place that YSE has, in the element of its no cost.

Iv seen it done with Blekko, I just prefer Majestic SEO, they're more convenient.

http://www.majesticseo.com is pretty good also.

Err Majestic is only good for your own benefit. But to find your competitions backlinks, its hopeless. Really, isnt that what its all about?

BTW - Alexa has a "reputation" section in the site info which picks up where the links are

simply go to Alexa, punch in the site you want to analyze and get all of Alexa's data on that site - which includes the inbound links they can find (not as thorough as yahoo! was but close)

Too bad nobodies yet made a Firefox plug-in that allows you to click and go the Alexa reputation page of a site you are viewing

I use ahrefs.com and getting good results for a reasonable amount.

You can find competitors backlinks with majestic but you have to pay and it's costly.

For a quick scatch and sniff test blekko is fine and then crank open seospyglass for more analysis (this uses blekko and several other sources of data).

If you need to crank out tons of competitor backlinks WITHOUT MONTHLY FEES, then SEO Backlink Finder is the tool for you.

Don't like ahrefs...majesticseo is the best IMO even though it costs.
