Alterdot BDNS is now under development - could support 20+ new TLD's using browser plugin

Just wanted to share that Alterdot's BDNS (Blockchain DNS) is now up and running in it's early stages. Unlike other blockchains, Alterdot doesn't provide any limitation on what domain can be registered. The length limits are 80 characters for names and 69 characters for content. Generally speaking you would register a name to an IP address but with Alterdot you can register any string of text and have it resolve to anything else you want - can be an IP, a crypto address or anything else.

It's important to note that their BDNS system is under development right now and there may be some bugs (none found as of yet). They haven't announced when the browser plugin will be available, nor have they confirmed which browser(s) will be supported.

During this development phase a registration costs 0.2 ADOT for now. ADOT is currently only available on one exchange - https://cratex.io/index.php?pair=ADOT/BTC and the current buy price is 0.00000014 BTC ($0.004988 USD). Personally I see the price for ADOT to hit $1 in the coming year or two, but that is pure speculation.

Domain/name registrations are valid for one year only. You can register a domain/name directly from the Alterdot wallet which be be downloaded from https://github.com/Alterdot/Alterdot/releases/latest

Of course there is no guarantee that they will be supported but at such cheap registration costs it's worth grabbing a few.

Just thought I'd update this thread. Alterdot have now released their browser extension on their way to developing fully functioning Web3 and chain locks are in place preventing 51% attacks. Development is continuing on the roadmap which has quite a few changes planned - https://alterdot.org/#roadmap

Price is now fluctuating between 0.00000030 BTC and 0.00000099 BTC on Cratex.io which is up quite a bit from 14 sat previously. Trading on Exbitron has also picked up with the price now at 0.03000209 USDT.

Still no advertising being done about the project, just being quietly worked on by the community without asking for any investment from anyone.

One new addition to the community thinks it should be valued closer to 40,000 sat. Still a lot of upside on this coin, still think it'll get to $1 this year or in 2023 depending on how quickly the community grows.

Alterdot still hovering just below $0.01 with some miners selling 4 ADOT every time they get a reward. Most users are still holding, none have sold our for silly amounts during the current major crypto sell-off.

Still a good time to be stacking them (whether through mining or running a masternode). Lite wallet is being worked on and should be released in the next couple of months.
