Say for example I am selling Necklaces.

1. Each necklace has 4 views - what should i do alt text wise for the 4 views of each product?

2. Also say Each necklace is called "The ____ Necklance" (The ___ is a term like a latin term basically the brand name of the necklace) - is that fine SEO wise?

Also is this over-optimization if i include the keyword "necklace" in ...

Each product has 4 images with alt text, product description tab for more info about the product, and a RICH SNIPPET with a star rating and description.

Alt text isn't quite as sensitive as many other aspects of SEO (both on page and off).

Typically - assuming the subject matter is all roughly the same - I try to look at it as an opportunity to inject some LSI keywords. I don't repeat the same word numerous times unless it's necessary and surrounded by other relevant but varying text.

Your alt text would be "brand 1 front" then "brand 1 back" and so on. Do not put necklace or brand name for all your tags as search engines already know that it is a necklace from your article or other text on the page and the brand name. It would be all relevant to each other.

Again make a list of the keywords you are going to target such as "brand necklace" + "brand necklace for women" + "brand necklace for parties" + "discounts on brand necklace" and so on. Do not target your page for one keyword but rather several and your backlinks can do the rest for moving it up for your main keyword.

Think about your site as a tree and each page is a branch with many leaves.
