Phishing is nothing new. Spoofing emails has existed for years. Today though, I recieved what could be the strangest phishing email of all time...

"Msg from PayPal: In order to protect you, we have limited your account due to suspicious activity. To help you resolve this issue, please call1-888-221-1161."

The email above is what I recieved. That number "1-888-221-1161", is Paypal's customer service number. I know for a fact this wasn't from Paypal and my account was never limited but here's my question. What in God's name is the purpose of making a phishing email that just directs the user to the actual company customer service number lmao...
