Alot More Content - Same Traffic?

Curious for anyone's thoughts on how exactly adding a lot more "great content" informative to "users" does not generate more traffic. In the world of SEO apparently adding more rocks to the bag doesn't change the weight of the bag...I don't want to hear some causation correlation BS...yes I am aware of -no volume search LTK's, and past page 1 you might as well not bother, but let's take 1000 pages for example as an example and say adding one thousand unique pages does not change the sites organic traffic? Albeit, a new site as in within about 1-year-old and low DR...so I assume some throttles are in play - any thoughts crew?

I can confirm it might not. I have a project like that.

All pages hit bottom of page 2 max and stay there. That's max where it's allowed at this point. When you look at Ahrefs the # of keywords is like 3000 and traffic around 250.

I think it's to do with trust. If your website is not trusted you will not rank. On-page and links might be great.

If you consider someone to be a liar for example, it doesn't matter how many times they say something, everything is considered a lie. Even though it might be true, it doesn't mater.

Yes that's, why it seems like high DR sites have 100k indexed kws and a no or low dr site, has 158 or maybe 1000...you can push all the content you want but without high DR you might as well just go back to bed...and start the day over again tomorrow KWS. more content, etc..its all the same issue..DR

You need marketing and traffic from backlinks, without it the content doesn't really matter, even though they lie it does. /shrug

that is implied...curious how your defining marketing though-you mean CPC?

Why take 1k pages as an example, that's not cheap.

Your goal should only be to be able to afford to produce a few articles every week.

You won't see results for months in some cases. And your site is the average age of everyone's first site.

e com sites arent all blogs...actually find blog articles on e com sites don't even rank..

This is very true, but there are lots of people who believe the otherwise.
